An evening with Levison Woods

Ellis Brigham is hosting a talk and Q&A session with author/explorer/adventure god Levison Wood, and we simply cannot wait

Levison Wood, star of Channel 4’s Walking the Nile, will be at Ellis Brigham’s Covent Garden store on 29 June for a talk and Q&A session.

Why do we care? Because Levison is a bit of an adventure god. Best known for walking the length of the Nile (and the documentary that followed it), Levison’s other adventure accolades include mountain climbing in Iraq, horse-riding through Afghanistan and conducting scientific research in Central Africa.

The evening will draw on some of his stories from expeditions in the Nile, the Himalayas and his life as a soldier, as well as offering an insight into his next adventure (will it be swimming the Amazon? Mountain biking Mount Everest? Pogo-sticking across Nambia? We’re expecting something big.)

Tickets for the evening cost £8, with all proceeds going to Levison’s nominated charity, the AMECA trust.

An Evening With Levison Wood takes place on 29 June 2016 at 8pm at Ellis Brigham Covent Garden. Tickets cost £8 and are available from ellisbrigham.com.
