Watch North Wales whitewater kayaking at its very best

Summer rains brought the Welsh rivers up, and kayakers rallied from dawn ’til dusk for 14 hours of all-time UK whitewater kayaking

Most people look forward to lots of sun and good weather in summer. Kayakers are an odd breed though, and (in the UK at least) are never happier than when it pours down with rain. When a huge summer storm hit North Wales recently, kayakers rejoiced as river levels sky rocketed and some of Wales’s most classic sections of whitewater came into optimum condition. Sam Ellis, Phil Mitchell and co. rallied to make the most of the epic amounts of water, lapping the Conwy (Fairy Glen section), Lledr, Mawdach, Cynfal Llugwy from 7am to 10pm. Beatdowns, broken paddles and backloops a’plenty, but what an epic day out on the Welsh rivers! *Some swearing, in case you’re watching with kids!

We rallied from Dusk till Dawn few coffee and cake at the few with our homies on some of my favorite runs in the World due to their pure joyous nature.
