Walking and thinking at the same time, who’d have thought it? The area stands out with land of unimaginable age, incredible complexity, world class scenary and various important scientfic discoveries.
Some sites date back to 3,000 million years ago, such as Lewisian Gneiss, and with visual evidence of the Big Freeze there is no wonder why geologists from around the world visit this area year after year.
