Jack Wolfskin opens store in Birmingham

Camp, Climb, Gear, Hike, News — By OAGmag on November 23, 2011 at 5:57 pm

Jack Wolfskin will soon be opening its first new store in the West Midlands. The substantial 2400 sq ft site will open in Birmingham’s Bullring Shopping Centre on Thursday 8 December. The Wolf will be arriving in the Midlands just in time for Christmas as the Birmingham site joins those in London (3), York and the Lake District to become the German brand’s sixth store in the UK.

The new store is sure to become the number one destination for all outdoor enthusiasts in the Midlands and beyond as the UK is Europe’s second largest market for outdoor goods. All staff share Jack Wolfskin’s passion for the great outdoors and will be committed to providing unrivalled expert advice to customers. Store manager Chris Young explains:

“We’re delighted to be able to offer our customers such a wide range of outdoor clothing and equipment in our new Birmingham store. We take pride in being able to offer expert advice, which is why our team is always willing to go the extra mile for customers. It goes without saying that there will be some special offers to mark the grand opening.”

Just in time for Christmas and the cold months ahead, the new Jack Wolfskin store will be offering the current autumn/winter collection with products from the Alpinism, Trekking, Hiking and Family ranges, all of which boast exceptional functionality, reliability and quality. With the latest 3-in-1 technology of the double jackets, a range of sophisticated softshells and shoe innovations for the winter, outdoor enthusiasts are sure to feel “at home outdoors” even in cold temperatures.

The store will be open Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 8pm, Saturday from 9am to 8pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
