Issues, News — By Outdoor Adventure Guide on March 15, 2012 at 12:32 pmThe snowdrops are in full swing… and here in the OAG office we are about to launch ourselves into the first issue of the season. We celebrate our ‘native’ outdoors this month - with oodles of adventures on a doorstep near you. Here’s a very exclusive peek into what you’ll find in OAG issue 105.
- There is a multi-active 48 hours in the Adventure Capital UK. We send OAG contributor Aaron, white-water rafting with his lilo.
- We accompany a group from Stamford High School on their Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme Silver Award.
- OAG regular Richard paddles around the Orkney Islands in his sea kayak.
- Want to know more about the UK’s native trees? See our guide in the all new ‘Pocket-Guide’ section. Plus, learn to read natures signals to help you find your way in the wild.
- Fancy a quick bike ride? Our man Adrian did just that, bike-packing from Sydney Opera House to Ayers Rock.
- We talk to two of the UK’s aspiring females explorers – you might have caught one of them on Dancing on Ice recently…
- Finally, we’re off to purchase a hat… our Reader Adventure this month features the magazines first ever wedding proposal… make sure you get the first issue to find out if she said “yes”.
Like the sound of any of that? Then look out for issue 105 in the shops.
