Fjäll Räven Friluft backpack review
Gear, Packs — By Outdoor Adventure Guide on May 16, 2012 at 3:58 pm Fjäll Räven Friluft - RRP £100
Well equipped for a day out on the hills or even a lightweight weekend. Built to last, this superbly-designed rucksack is very functional, even the zip pulls are made with the gloved hand in mind.
Durable fabric is positioned where it is needed –
on the base and behind areas that get the most use, eg. the side pockets. There is no compromise on comfort either, the back system allows ventilation and the internal frame seems to lighten the load when fully-packed.
The shoulder straps are strong and yet cut away to allow movement with gear loops. The main compartment is roomy and contains a bladder pocket. Two fastenings secure the lid.
The lid has two pockets, and a handy bungee cord for carrying extra gear. It has stretchy pockets to the front and sides – accessible when pole loops are in use. Plus a rain cover and adjustable straps on the base – ideal for a roll mat.
