Vaude SoMo Triset Rucksack review
Gear, Packs — By Outdoor Adventure Guide on May 15, 2012 at 5:31 pmVaude SoMo Triset Backpack - RRP £50
Designed specifically for the UK market, this comfortable rucksack boasts plenty of features. The overall shape is very neat, which is great for arm movement, and the close-to-the-body fit makes it ideal for alpinists.
The main compartment has a slip pocket for a bladder, and it’s not going to escape. Two expandable zipped side pockets give the rucksack an extra 4L of space but if stuffed full might compromise what can be put in the mesh side pockets. A hearty lunchbox can be accommodated in the roomy lid pocket.
The lightweight Airoflex back system helps to keep your back cool. There are no pockets on the waistband, which can be really useful (for dog treats), but there are loops available on the shoulder straps for fixing a compass or camera case.
Other key features include a bungee cord lashing on the front panel and a raincover.
