Montane Superfly Shell Jacket
Gear, Jackets — By Outdoor Adventure Guide on June 11, 2012 at 12:43 pmMontane Superfly £270
I had an idea of what I was in for when I tested this jacket as I already have an older Montane jacket of my own. On first impressions it’s very light with it’s eVent fabric. Built for the British mountains, from the Lake District to the Cairngorms, the Super-Fly was developed to work hard in pouring rain or to provide protection from a powerful snow storm. Features comfortable hand-warmer pockets clear of a rucksack hip belt, a large OS map pocket and a full coverage mountain helmet hood. The Super-Fly is super light for a mountain shell and has the critical features required for mountain walking and climbing. Colour: Moroccan blue
FABRIC eVent lightweight three layer
FIT Ideal slim fit for me, with enough room for layers
sizes 8 – 16
OAG Likeys Either of the front pockets will fit an OS map
OAG No Likeys None
Overall Extremely good jacket and ideal for typically British ‘four seasons in one day’ weather. From this group, this would be my jacket of choice
on a weekend away.
