Odlo Packaway Pro Shell Jacket

Gear, Jackets — By Outdoor Adventure Guide on June 11, 2012 at 2:32 pm

Odlo Packaway Pro Shell, RRP £170

Odlo-packaway-pro

This lightweight rain jacket put in a really solid performance in pouring rain. The fabric literally repelled the water instantly and has a slight stretch to it – aiding free movement and making it ideal for scrambling, climbing and running. There’s two slash side pockets which double up as mesh lined vents. A fixed hood which I would prefer if it zipped or rolled away. The cuffs have velcro adjusters and are shaped for added hand protection in wet weather. Also features a MP3 pouch, chin guard, and is fully taped throughout with a microfibre protected collar for added comfort.

FABRIC 3L Logic

FIT Great slim fit with added stretch, aids movement

OAG Likeys Great fit as well as a wonderfully water repellent fabric

OAG No Likeys Fixed hood

Overall Behind the Arc’teryx, this would be my second choice to take into the great outdoors. Excellent water repellency and good value for money too.

Verdict?
