RAB NeoShell Stretch Shell jacket RRP £270

This jacket uses Polartec’s new fabric NeoShell. In this women’s specific version the fabric offers a stretch to it, which was slightly lost on me as the jacket tested is in size medium and quite a generous fit (I’m a size 10). It has a really soft feel which I like, plus two large chest pockets which fit an OS map with ease. The jacket performed brilliantly in the pouring rain of Cornwall last November. I like the colour too, I’m not a big fan of pale girly colours – preferring something more practical. Adjustable velcro cuffs and a generous rollaway hood. Reflective trim, taped seams and zips. Overall A fabulous soft feel stretchy fabric that performed really well and offers freedom of movement. I’d be more than happy to rely on this jacket on most weekends away.
