First impressions: Not the lightest in the test but certainly one of the most solid. A waterproof hiking shoe made of nubuck suede leather with extensive air mesh inserts down to the toe area making it a very breathable on warm days. Jack Wolfskin’s own Texapore membrane. A wide fitting shoe which is comfortable straight out of the box. The sole is well-lugged right to the edge of the shoe providing plenty of grip and the footbed is well cushioned. The removable insole is well cushioned. Nylon lace loops and eyelets. Made in Vietnam

Overall A good solid performer and the extensive air mesh panels provide good plenty of ventilation even on the warmest of days. Good value for money too. And if you like the paw-print logo there are no less than six on each shoe!
