Win tickets to the inspirational Banff Film Festival tour

The 2016 Banff Film Festival is travelling the UK and Ireland, and we’ve got three pairs of tickets to give away

Now in its seventh year, the Banff Film Festival has become an annual institution, brightening up our winter with hours of colourful inspiration. And this year it is set to be better than ever, with 85 screenings and 55 locations in the British Isles alone.

The tour will showcase the best films entered into the Banff Mountain Film Festival, which was held in Canada in November. Covering everything from long-planned expeditions in remote cultures to high adrenalin action sports, the tour programme is a must-watch for any outdoor lover.

This year’s highlights include:

  • Eclipse – Photographer Reuben Krabbe travels to Svalbard in a bid to capture a seemingly impossible photo of a skier in front of 2015’s solar eclipse. The film won the Snowsports category.
Chris Cody Brodie (Chris Rubens, Cody Townsend, Brody Leven - skiers will not be specifically ID'd from this shoot) Svalbard Solar eclipse, march 20 2015
