Danny Macaskill’s back on his bike for ‘A Wee Day Out’ in Scotland!

Everyone’s favourite bike riding Scottish maniac is back with more insane cycling stunts in rural Scotland

Danny Macaskill is a Scottish legend – time after time he drops edits of the most mind-boggling trials riding and bike stunts you can imagine, generally involving a healthy amount of flips, spins, and balancing on impossibly narrow swinging metal chains.

Now Danny is back, and switching it up a bit with a more MTB style video shot in the best adventure destination in the UK – rural Scotland.

Macaskill is one of the most entertaining cyclists to watch, and his edits are so popular globally that he’s a household name in many places. This latest escapade doesn’t disappoint: there’s a hilarious nod to the World Mountain Bike Bog Snorkelling Championships as he rides underwater, but more importantly there is no shortage of incredible stunts, from huge drops in train stations to riding on a moving hay bale, all set in the beautiful countryside near Edinburgh.

Speaking about the video, Danny said: “Although I’m doing very abnormal riding, I set out to make a video that hopefully relates to the normal rider. Every rider has had to ride through a puddle when it’s been a bit unknown how deep the centre of that puddle is, it just so happens that the puddle in my film is 6ft deep. I wanted to do a video on the mountain bike again and give myself creative freedom with this film. It’s meant to be a fun day out on the bike, so I wanted it to be quite light hearted.”
